The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a warning to the public regarding fraudulent activities linked to the ongoing recruitment process. According to management, some individuals are falsely using the name of the Service to demand money from applicants.
GES has firmly clarified that it does not require any form of payment as a condition for recruitment. The Service emphasized that no fees are charged at any stage of the process.
Prospective applicants have therefore been strongly advised to avoid making payments or offering any inducement to persons claiming to represent GES or to have influence within the institution.
The public has also been encouraged to report any individual or group requesting money in connection with GES recruitment to the nearest police station.
GES further indicated that it is working closely with security agencies to identify and take action against those involved in such unlawful practices.
