National Union of Ghana Students Announces Scholarship Opportunities in India for 2026/2027 Academic Year


The National Union of Ghana Students has released a notice informing Ghanaian students about available scholarship opportunities in India for the 2026/2027 academic year.

According to the announcement dated 30th March 2026, the scholarships are being offered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.


Available Study Programmes

These scholarship opportunities provide Ghanaian students the chance to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes in a variety of disciplines at recognized universities and institutions in India.


Scholarship Schemes

The following scholarship schemes are available:

  • India–Africa Maitri Scholarship Scheme – This scheme provides slots for Ghanaian students in both STEM and non-STEM fields.

  • Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship Scheme – This programme offers opportunities to study aspects of Indian culture, including music, dance, theatre, performing arts, as well as a diploma in Yoga.


Application Process

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online through the ICCR Admission to Alumni (A2A) Scholarship Portal:

Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting applications is 15th April 2026.
