Government Declares April 3 and April 6, 2026 as Statutory Public Holidays



The public has been officially informed that Friday, 3rd April 2026, and Monday, 6th April 2026 have been designated as statutory public holidays to be observed nationwide.

These dates mark the celebration of Good Friday and Easter Monday, and are to be recognized and observed accordingly across the country.

The announcement was signed by Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister for the Interior, and was issued on 30th March 2026.
