The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has announced the official re-opening date for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year for all public Colleges of Education in Ghana.
Per the revised academic calendar released earlier, students in Levels 100 to 400 are expected to return to campus on May 18, 2026, to begin academic activities for the second semester. The semester is scheduled to run for fourteen weeks.
This announcement comes after the completion of first semester academic work, including examinations for Levels 100, 200, and 300, which took place from April 13 to April 24, 2026. Following the examinations, students began their vacation on April 25, 2026.

Earlier in the academic year, Level 400 students completed their macro teaching practice, which ended on March 14, 2026, as part of their professional training.
PRINCOF has encouraged all students to take note of the re-opening date and report to their campuses on time to ensure a smooth start to the semester.
The conference also advised students to comply with all academic and administrative requirements ahead of the resumption of full academic activities for the second semester.
